Meet Melissa
Melissa Misgen, owner of Elite Events Catering, has 35 years of catering experience. She began catering at a young age, working with family in her home state of Minnesota and started her own business in Florida in 2001.
“I grew up in a big family in small town in southern Minnesota. I’ve always had an appreciation for great food. I remember digging through the cupboards at a very young age, trying to find ingredients that would make something more exciting and delicious! I guess you could say I have always had a passion for cooking and life has led me on a culinary journey where I long to bring people together to experience food together and create special memories that will last forever.”

Meet John
When it comes to logistics and organization, John keeps the machine well oiled, so to speak! John joined Elite Events Catering full time more than 10 years ago, after a 20-year career in retail management. His extensive corporate experience is a huge asset to our team.

Meet TERRI
Terri Schulte is a seasoned Senior Event Specialist with experience in managing and executing a diverse range of events, from corporate conferences to high-profile social gatherings. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating memorable experiences, Terri has successfully planned events for both local and national clients, ensuring that each occasion reflects the client's vision and objectives.
An innovative thinker, Terri stays current with industry trends, continuously seeking new ways to enhance event experiences. Her collaborative approach enables her to work seamlessly with teams and stakeholders, fostering strong relationships that contribute to successful events. Her experience with budget management, site selection, and contract negotiation, are a huge asset in providing clients with exceptional service and value.
Outside of event planning, Terri enjoys traveling and fitness. She believes in the power of events to bring people together and create lasting connections, making each project not just a job, but a personal passion.
